Testament Chambers is committed to handling the personal data of clients, enquirers, and website visitors with care and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) ("PDPA"). Testament Chambers is a legal practice based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, providing services in estate administration and inheritance matters. For the purposes of the PDPA, Testament Chambers is the data controller in respect of personal data processed as described in this policy.

Personal data collected through enquiry forms is used to respond to your enquiry and, where an engagement proceeds, to carry out the legal work you have engaged us for. Specifically:

- To provide legal services in connection with an engagement;
- To comply with legal and professional obligations applicable to legal practitioners in Malaysia;
- To improve our website and communications (using anonymised analytics data where you have consented).

Enquiry records where no engagement follows are retained for twelve months. Client files are retained for seven years from the conclusion of an engagement, in accordance with our professional obligations. After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

We do not share personal data with third parties except:
- Where sharing is necessary to carry out your engagement (for example, correspondence with financial institutions, the Land Administrator, or Amanah Raya Berhad);
- Where required by law or court order;
- With our IT service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

These include access controls on our systems, secure email communications for sensitive matters, and regular review of our data handling practices.
